Favorite Place: My favorite place is to be in the ocean, any ocean will do. Here in California we have amazing kelp forests teaming with life and I can shore dive here most any weekend year round.
Favorite Things to Do: I love to explore in the water or on land. I have never been afraid of getting lost. On the contrary, I welcome the added adventure of the unknown.

Favorite Shark: All of them, if I get to spend time with them then I feel privileged! It's like asking a parent which is their favorite child. Each one is exceptional in their own way, sharks are the same.

What shark are you most like and why?
Probably a White Shark. I tend to be a bit more assertive than my colleagues and that is sometime misunderstood.

If you could tell people one thing about about sharks and/or the oceans, what would it be?
Sharks, as a top predator, are fundamentally essential to the health and well being of our oceans. As with any ecosystem removal of a predator, or changes in its population density, can have drastic cascading effects on the equilibrium of many other populations in the ecosystem.

I have always been fascinated by sharks. However my first shark dive was by accident, I discovered quickly that sharks were not looking at me as a menu item. It was then I began to seek them out and learn more about them.

Short Bio:
I have been diving since 2003. The moment I hit the water I knew I was meant to have been born with gills because I did not want to come back out. Over the years I have become more actively involved with shark conservation through community outreach. Being a Shark Angel is a natural progression of what has become my life passion.
