Shark Angels will create specific branded assets to be used on all social media channels. Donors should also post and create stories on their channels as well.

5. When and Where Does the Auction Take Place?

Our online auction typically takes place in July to coincide with Shark Week, when sharks are in the spotlight and people around the world are talking about them.

Hosted on Charity Auctions Today, our auction gives bidders the opportunity to discover unique trips, experiences and products while supporting shark conservation.

For participating businesses, it’s a great opportunity to showcase their donations during one of the biggest weeks of the year for shark awareness.

Donating something with a retail value exceeding $6,000?

We offer opportunities for enhanced promotional exposure to recognize higher-value contributions.

Depending on your donation, these may include:

7. What Does Your Auction Donation Help Fund?

Auction proceeds help support the Shark Angels Conservation Internship Program, giving the next generation of ocean advocates hands-on experience in research, education, policy and conservation campaigns.

Here’s what your support has helped make possible this year:

• 5 additional interns gaining real-world conservation experience.
• 5 new shark science articles making research accessible and engaging for the public.
• 5 additional countries researched for our Shark Laws & Loopholes database, identifying existing protections and gaps in legislation.
• 1 new conservation campaign focused on protecting Brazil’s sharks.

Our interns aren’t just learning about conservation. They’re doing meaningful work that Shark Angels actually uses to educate the public, influence policy and inspire action.

8. What Programs Does Shark Angels Support?

Our work goes beyond raising awareness. From mentoring future conservationists to researching shark protection laws and inspiring people through education, Shark Angels turns a passion for sharks into action.

8. What Type of Donations Are We Asking For?

We are looking for scuba diving packages on land and on a liveaboard, gear & artwork.

• Dive Resort: Scuba Diving Package for 2 for one week + Hotel + Meals + 5 days of two tank dives (this is our wish list)
• Liveaboard: One or Two spots which includes all diving + meals
• Gear: Scuba Diving Equipment like Dive Computers, BCDs, Fins, Regs and more
