On October 13, Shark Angels is bringing the wonder of sharks to the children at Cohen Children’s Medical Center of New York.

For a few special hours, we’ll help them leave the hospital behind and dive into an incredible underwater world filled with shark stories, videos and fun surprises.

But we don’t want the experience to end when our visit does.

We want every child to leave with their very own symbolic shark adoption; a shark friend to keep them company, make them smile and remind them just how brave they are.

Turning a Hospital Room Into an Underwater Adventure

For years, I’ve dreamed of bringing Shark Angels into a children’s hospital.

I want to share what it feels like to meet a shark underwater, to see its beauty, feel its power and discover that these misunderstood animals are far more amazing than frightening.

Through videos, stories and shark trivia, we’ll introduce the children to a world of ocean adventure. Maybe we’ll take their minds off their illness for a while. Maybe we’ll give them something exciting to dream about.

And maybe we’ll inspire the next generation of Shark Angels.
